How Qylveras researches, writes, and reviews its content — gently, credibly, and independently.

Trust is the only thing that makes a wellbeing publication worth reading. This page explains how we research, write, review, and maintain everything on Qylveras — and how we keep our content gentle, credible, and independent.
How we choose what to cover
We write about the quiet struggles real readers have: a racing mind at bedtime, a tight chest in a busy week, a meditation habit that won't stick, the feeling of never quite switching off. Ideas come from our own lives, reader questions, and the patterns we see people wrestle with again and again. We do not chase fear or hype for traffic's sake.
How we research and write
Every article is written or edited by a named member of our team. Our work is evidence-aware: we lean on research in mindfulness, psychology, and sleep, on recognised, credible sources, and on lived practice — then we translate it into plain language you can actually use. Claims that depend on findings are linked to their source, and we try to be honest when the research is mixed, early, or uncertain rather than overstating what a few quiet minutes can do.
Gentle, realistic, non-hype content
We hold every draft to a simple standard: is this honest, realistic, and kind? We avoid hype, shame, and the promise of instant calm. We favour small, repeatable practices over miracle fixes, and we'd rather under-promise and genuinely help than over-promise and let you down. A wandering mind is not a failure, and our writing never makes readers feel like they're bad at relaxing.
Care with sensitive topics
Mindfulness often brushes up against mental health, and we treat that responsibility seriously. Qylveras is not therapy or medical advice, and we say so clearly. Mindfulness and breathing are not a cure for any condition. When a topic touches anxiety, depression, trauma, or distress, we write with care, remind readers to practise breathing gently and stop if they feel unwell, and point them toward qualified professionals and appropriate support — including emergency services or a crisis line for anyone in crisis or thinking about self-harm — rather than positioning an article as treatment. See our disclaimer for the full statement.
Our use of AI tools
Our articles are written and edited by people. We may use software for spell-checking, research, or suggesting outlines, but a human writer is responsible for the substance, accuracy, and final wording of everything we publish. We do not publish auto-generated content.
Independence and advertising
Qylveras is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense, and occasionally affiliate links. To protect your trust:
- We never accept payment to praise a method, app, or product, and we do not promote miracle products or pay-for-placement.
- Advertising is clearly distinguishable from articles.
- Affiliate relationships never change our judgement — see our disclaimer for the full disclosure.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do, we fix them quickly and transparently. If you spot an error or an out-of-date detail, email hello@qylveras.com or use our contact form. Substantive corrections are noted on the article.
Updates
Because our understanding evolves, we revisit popular articles and refresh them. When a piece is meaningfully updated, the publication date reflects the most recent revision.
